Starting trouble

Asked by Sweetwhitedove Nov 30, 2018 at 08:00 PM about the 2000 GMC Sonoma SL Ext Cab Short Bed 2WD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I replaced my temperature control
sensor, now my truck wont crank. I
undid the negative cable during
installation. Everything is hooked
back up, cant find anything
unplugged. Acts like out of gas but
has plenty. Please help.

1 Answer

on my sonoma the crankshaft sensor sits right under the temp control sensor and if you hit the wires or the crankshaft end where the wires go in it can break or should i say hair line fracture so check to see if crank sensor is still getting power and that crank shaft sensor didnt get damaged during your other installation. see it happen before
