Is your trunk release manual or electric? I'm guessing electric. note the diagram. See the fuse, not only check the fuse, see if voltage at the fuse, use a test light, hot all the time. See the relay, can you unplug the relay and testing at relay? Sometimes, if the diagram doesn't show terminals for the relay, the relay not be removable? I don't about, yours, you try it and see. See the lid latch in diagram, the blue wire with yellow wire is voltage, the black wire is ground. Check voltage and ground at the latch. Any applicable trouble codes for rear lid latch, The codes I saw were manufacturer specific codes for that latch. If you can't open trunk with key, some makes and models, you can remove rear seat back to access trunk. Not sure about years, I'd have to look. I can only help with testing. good luck
