They are not approved for all motor vehicles yet, only for lawn mowers and heavy equipment that does not run on paved surfaces. According to the people in the know on this stuff you might see approval by 2024, but don’t hold your breath. I haven’t really seen any hard data on the handling and performance for the everyday drive.
You can, but not yet. When available, likely from Michelin & Bridgestone-Firestone, they will require special rims and the cost will be near prohibitive. Also, air in tires dissipates heat gained while driving, and airless tires won't move heat as efficiently, so miles driven will go way down, maybe as much as fifty percent. So airless tire for a twelve year old car might cost as much as the car's worth.
