Will a 2001 crown vic police interceptor engine fit in a 2001 Mercury Grand Marquis

They are the same car, mercurys were just a fancy ford, but transfer both the engine and transmission as the interceptor tranny is a special transmission and the stock marquis tranny won't last long behind an interceptor engine. HTH
