How do I fix this problem

I'm having a problem with my truck the windshield
wipers didn't work so I took the motor off of the
truck and there is a ground wire that runs to the
bolt that holds the motor on the truck I broke it so I
put one back on the truck and ran it to the
bellhousing but my trucks acting like it's not
getting no far will crank but won't start and it ran
fine before I started messing where's the wiper
motor any ideas on how to fix it
