what other tranny will bolt up to an 88 f150 with a 4.9? the mazda tranny is junk.

I have an 88 f150 4x4 sb with a 4.9 and a mazda md50, I believe. had it rebuilt twice & problems again. want to put a different tranny in, maybe an automatic. any suggestions. I also heard a long time ago that a 351w would bolt right in.
