Leaking fuel pump

100

Asked by Hallow22 May 20, 2018 at 11:07 AM about the 1988 Ford F-150 STD Standard Cab LB

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My external fuel pump has a really bad leak. The
4.9l runs like there's nothing wrong but I don't like
leaking gas wherever I go. Is the whole pump going
to need replacing or is there something easier and
cheaper I can do?

There isn't much to you can do except replace the fuel pump, it has served its time.
