I have have a f 150 4x4 manual 4 speed with granny and someone told me i can change it with a bronco 4 speed with od is this true
probably....what, you aren't plowin' the fields with the Chevy...this gear is for farmers...the sloped floor is so farmers can bucket wash the footwells....take some measurements, knowin' these vehicles will bolt right in~ verify with a tape measure~
Really Judge, farmers? I used granny gear a lot in my 4X4 when the terrain got steep and rough on old cat trails in my wood hauling days, also worked for slowly pulling someone out of the ditch so didn't rip out the undercarriage, anyway to answer your question, it will work, but there will be some minor modifications, double check driveline length, tranny mount and crossmember, like Judge stated measure everything first.
it should i put a granny 4sp out of a bronco in a f-150 wicth had a 4sp od.the difference in my case was the 4sp had rods to engage the clutch and the 4sp od had slave cylinder set up.u can use one or the other but easier to keep slave set up. the front drive shafts are the same, the rear f-150 drive shaft lined up has well.easy swap.
