Should any of the coolant passages have any sort of blockage

Asked by Lane Sep 03, 2020 at 09:03 PM about the 1985 Ford F-150 XLT Lariat Standard Cab SB

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

So I had my truck running and everything and it got
to operating temp and the bottom radiator hose
blew off and the radiator is okay and so is the
thermostat but it seems like one of the coolant
passages is blocked by a hard substance could this
cause that??

The answer is obvious if you think about it. Do a cooling system flush.

You can also decide if you want to replace the radiator as well if it is original.
