55 chev 265 crankcase vent

I'm looking for some info and pics of the cvent tube on the top of motor. Thanks

Check Faxon Auto Literature in Riverside, California. They have a website. You can probably get a reprint of the original factory shop manual there. Good quality and reasonable prices. I've bought from there several times. HTH. -Jim

if u mean the tube that sticks up out of the inlet manifold to the left of the thermostat housing, its where you fill up the oil also as the tappet covers/valve covers onb the early chevs didnt have filler hole/vent in them. aussie early chevs same deal.
