2012 Nissan Xterra Airbag Light is Flashing

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My airbag light is flashing.  The local Nissan dealer says they don't know
exactly what the problem is and that they have to replace the control unit for
$1000.  If it doesn't work we will still have to pay for it.

You could get another opinion from an independent shop first.
