Is it possible to convert a 4 cylinder engine to a v6
I did it in my boat, but the bottom end torque just wasn't there so I put in a V8. Now if you are talking about your listed vehicle, the only way to do it right is to get a donor vehicle for the same year, make and model then transfer everything including the electronics.
ok next question then. Would i be able to out a supercharger from a 2007 cobalt on that same engine?
The engineers would say no due to the fact that supercharged engines are set up differently than normally aspirated engines, that's why most people go for turbos in smaller displacement engines so they don't have to modify a bunch of stuff and still get similar results. But I can't tell you for certain if a supercharger will work.
On a stock cobalt normally aspirated engine. Pushed the wrong tab and posted before I was done.
Could you put a V6 engine that's out of a Malibu into a 4 cylinder Cruze
How deep are your pockets? If you have enough money you can put any engine into anything. Don't believe me, just watch "when mechanics go crazy" on you tube . But this is not a job for your local shop oir even in your own garage, there will be extensive body, subframe, suspension mods not too mention the wiring nightmare.
