Cadillac  Seville srs?

Head gasket? Upwards of $3,000! The engine and transmission must be removed from the bottom of the vehicle. Then you can replace the head gaskets. But you need to let someone who is familiar with this engine do the job!! Because the head bolts pull out of the block, which is why the head gaskets blew in the first place, a button kit to repair the damaged bolt holes must be installed in the block. This is a very labor intensive job and, in my opinion, the vehicle isn't worth fixing at this point. This is NOT a job for the shade tree mechanic, gas station garage, or a chain type of repair shop. Best to junk it and buy something that doesn't have a Northstar engine!! Sorry!! Jim

I totally agree with the above. Having owned one of these Northstar nightmares you will never get away from feeding it more and more money. Best to get rid of it.
