Engine light on
I have a 2007 ford f150. The engine light came on and when I took it to the garage they told me it was the coolant housing thermostat. The light went out and they will look further if it happens again. What is the problem and what should I do.
I'm not familiar with a "cooling housing thermostat". It could be a thermostat. It could be coolant temperature sensor. I suggest getting the codes read at a parts store, write down the code number and reply here. If it's really a problem, it will happen again.
