2002 Cadillac seville sls Key is stuck in the ignition and won't turn to the OFF position or come out. Also the shifter is stuck in park

I can't even take it to the shop because I can not get the car to move out of
the PARK position......please help!

Battery's dead You Can't remove the key if the battery's dead

Ive got the same problem except shifters fine but it wont go to the off position and i cant get key out if n e one can help please lmk

UPDATE: For those with this problem, one ordeal I just got over with the help of my uncle who's a life time mechanic, put your emergency break in and the key should come out

It might be your ignition that messed up i had the same problem with my 98 caddillac seville sls ..i had to repace it ...
