Location of the turn signal/flasher relay in a 2001 530i E39 sedan
Need help finding the location of and how to replace the turn
signal/flasher relay in a 2001 530i E39 4-door sedan. I'd like to
upgrade to a digital relay to replace all my filament incandescent
turn signal bulbs for all LED turn signals without the need for
independent external resistors in every corner.
Thank you all and happy 2011!
Try going on one of the BMW forums like bimmerfest.com or bimmerwerkz.com . I have the same car as you but not sure of where this relay is located. Alot of knowledgeable people on these forums, you're bound to find someone with the answer. Good luck!
its in the gm(general module)behind the glove box.
i am sorry i gave you the wrong info.the flasher switch is housed in the actual switch itself on the column and is activated by the lamp module(LSZ) the lamp module is the headlight switch.sorry for the sending you the wrong info.
