I have a 2010 Mercury Mariner, the drivers doordont lock / unlock with the rest always,with the remote even sometimes with the lock button inside, anyone have any ideas? Thank You

It is probably the door lock actuator inside the door. I've replaced a lot of them for this concern.

ok, is that something we can do, or do you suggest a dealer do it? any idea of a rough cost for the part/labor?

It can be done at home but find a youtube video or some other detailed instructions including the tools needed. I have a lot of handy dandy specialized tools that make it easier to do but with a little patience and time it's a Saturday afternoon of wondering if the engineer that designed it was mad at you specifically.
