2009 F150 truck will turn over but wont start
checked oil level and its good, disconnected the battery to reboot the system ,no change, theres an oil can lite up
on the dash, any ideas?
figured it out, blowen fuse the number 25 fuse ( fuel pump) easy to get too and change, seems to work fine now, y it blew not sure, any one have an idea on that?
Since it appears to have occurred only once, and replacing the fuse fixed the problem, it seems not to be a dead short or a problem with the pump in the vehicle. Pray it was just a faulty fuse or a loose connection in the fuse box that caused the fuse to fail. Trying to trace a sporadic short (maybe caused by vibration) is almost impossible to find. If you have the time and willingness to try, check out the wiring diagram and begin checking physical connections for possible problems. It will take a while on your back.
