dash light keeps flashing when engine is turned off

the dash light that looks like the rear view of a truck with a big lock on it keeps flashing when the engine is off.

Sounds like a security system reminder to lock up the vehicle. Does it stop when you lock the doors? If so that's what it is. Hope that helps! Jim
