My heater does not come on even when very cold outside and when core temp is up. Same with AC. But when they do decide to come on they work great. Help I live in North dakota... BRRRRR

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have monitored temp, but not consistent. I maintain a full radiator. Tried with vaious temp dial settings. Same "delay" happens with AC. When it does engage, it blows and heats/cools great, just can't get it to "start" when I want?

sounds like the control panell is shorting out or is bad,or it has a bad resistor, whitch controls fan speed and if bad will not come on eather.1 of the 2 is the problem.
