77 cobra wont turn over

Asked by May 04, 2015 at 11:18 AM about the 1977 Ford Mustang Cobra II

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I already replaced solenoid, ignition module, batter cables, & battery- checked the in line fuses - I can start the car by bypassing the solenoid so I know the starter is good and motor is good

I am running out of ideas--anyone know my next steps??  it has a 302

Check for power on the small wire on the solenoid that has the [s] on it when you turn the key to crank, if no power then you could have a bad ignition switch and or a bad neutral safety switch if an automatic or clutch switch if a standard. HTH
