I'd suspect high voltage at the fuel pump, bad ground, or maybe a bad fuel pump relay. Also, if you're buying cheapo beepo fuel pumps, well, you get what you pay for. Hope that helps! Jim
Well, the car's fifteen years old. Maybe the fuel filter's clogged and that resistance is causing increased pressure in the fuel pump.
So when you replaced the fuel pump you also replaced the fuel filter and fuel pump relay and checked the fuel pump connector? How is the fuel quality in your area? Bad fuel can ruin a good pump.

Do you drive around on empty ? When it was first installed did you get half a tank of gas ??
