RELEARN PROCEDURE: Turn the key on, with the engine OFF. Try to start the engine, then release the key to ON, Engine will not start. Watch the security telltale, after about 10 mins, it will turn OFF. Turn OFF the ignition, and wait 5 seconds. Repeat steps 1 through 4 two more times for a total of 3 cycles/30 minutes. You must turn the ignition OFF for 30 seconds before attempting to start the vehicle after the 3 cycles. Then start the engine . http://www.diy-gm-security.com/ http://newrockies.com/

You can by pass security system , by adding resisters to the wires underneath the steering column. You will test the omes on each side of the chip on the key and whatever amps they read is the amps you buy on the resisters . There will be a orange wire , that is the wire you tie the resisters into.

My car is 1997 buick lesabra problems, I can't start the car, I park the car then will start at all, secretly is on flash on and off on dash,

Tried the Relearn Procedure on my 1999 Buick LeSabre Custom, and it was not successful. The security light never turned off. Didn't turn off after 10, 15, or 20 minutes.
