staring problems

I help jump start another car and in the process the guy put the cables wrong causing a spark . my car turned off and now wont start up . should I be looking for a fuse that went out or something else . battery and starter sound good but im not hearing the fuel pump. could this be a fuse issue ?

The battery is usually protect by a fuse. Hope that it is blown and the rest of the electronics in your car weren't fried.

You fried your control module(computer) which runs your car.Expensive repair.Never have someone boost you if they don't know what there doing.
