the battery is good all the lights come on when I turn the ignition there's no sound

Proper way to check if the battery is good is to load test it or probe it with a multimeter to see what voltage you have. You still could have lights on in the car but not enough to turn the car over. Check that first before repaving other parts. Usually 12.3V or higher will be able to turn the car over. How old is your battery? Any corrosion on the battery terminals?
