I think my starter went out. I put a new one in but still doesn't start. What else could be the problem with the starter?

Switch on the headlights and try to start it. Do the headlights stay nice and bright? If so, it's the starter, neutral safety switch, or possibly a security system issue. If the headlights dim, flicker badly, or go out, it's going to be the battery (weak/dead) or the battery cable connections. HTH. -Jim
