Will a 1992 Buick lesabre motor fit into a
1997 Buick lesabre? What parts can
interchange?

The basic answer is yes it will fit. It appears from 1991 to the end of production in 2008 the basic L36 engine was the same. You might need to move some sensors, and other things from the 97 on to the 92 so it will work with the engine controls. Once you get the two engines together note the differences.
