2001 buick century
i was replacing a front turn signal light and when i was doing it my headlights started
flashing for about 30 seconds then stopped after i was done replacing the bulb i tried
starting the car and it wouldnt do anything when put the key in and turn it all the lights on
the dash light up but the engine does nothing at all.. what happened
Check battery connections, Jump start the car, check fuses. Then pull Codes from computer if that don't work.
You must have blown a major fuse? Or tripped a breaker? Normally the headlights come right off the battery as does the starter via a relay. Check all your fuses and look for a melted fusible link too. Should be something fairly obvious?
If you did not unlock the car before starting the repair you may have tripped the security system. Just a thought. HTH. -Jim
