Where is upstream oxygen sensor

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I had codes read and it says to replace upstream
oxygen sensor (bank 1 sensor 1). I've searched
online looking for videos or pictures to show me
exactly where it is but found nothing and
shockingly the owners manual does not mention it.
Can anyone help me out with its exact location.
And maybe it would help if you all knew it's an
inline 6 engine.

Passenger side, look down below the exhaust manifold, it's right there. Soak it with PB Blaster.

If it is the sensor closest to the cab of the truck and down toward the bottom of the engine then I have found it. Thanks for the help guy's. But I'm still very surprised that my owners manual didn't mention a single word about oxygen sensors .

Yep, that's it, fairly easy one to do if it's not stuck on there. The normal sized o2 sensor socket tends to hit the fender there. If it is stuck, I've had luck with propane torch, then freeze spraying the sensor right after. Only thing that worked.
