Asked by Guru9634Q Jul 21, 2017 at 02:56 PM about the 2007 Buick Rendezvous CXL FWD

Question type: General

My 2007 rendezvous is fwd. it is in excellent condition. I have always had all
weather tires but am moving to Alberta Canada which has lots of snow in winter
months. Can I keep my rendezvous with winter tires or should I sell ?

I would buy a 4x4 or AWD but that is up to you. Most AWD cars these days are part time which is not nearly as good as full time AWD so shop around.

Most AWD cars these days are part time AWD which means they run in front wheel drive until the computer detects wheel spin and then it kicks in the AWD. Not nearly as good as 4wd or full time AWD. Subaru is full time AWD and there are probably others as well.
