How much transmission fluid to add after filter change?

Approx. how much Dexron 3 do I add after changing transmission filter. Thanks

It's actually 7.9 per book if pan was removed and filter changed. According to the dealership it never needs to be changed. But there's a lot of people who have, and I've done a number of transmission that appeared to have gone bad due to the fluid being bad. Been mechanic over 30 years and have never seen a fluid that last forever, just saying
