I am trying to find out if there are 2 different black exterior colors or are they all the same black?

Im buying a 05 VW GLI in black color?  I was looking at some aftermarket parts for the headlights...  I have found a regular black and a black pearl.  Did VW produce 2 different black exteriors or are they all the same?

Yes VW did produce two different blacks for the MK4's. Black Magic Pearl and Uniblack. Only 04.5/05 GLI's came BMP as well as the 20th AE GTI's. All other blacks are called Uniblack.
