Heater/AC blower motor no power

Asked by Ohiobuckmaster May 26, 2017 at 10:13 PM about the 2005 Dodge RAM 1500 SLT Quad Cab LB 4WD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 05 ram 1500 4.7 4x4 and blower
motor won't work the controls don't work I
have checked what fuses and relays there
are replaced the resister under dash by
blower motor and if I run a hot wire there
blower motor will kick on so I'm guessing
no power going there but replacing
everything and resister not sure where to
go heater control or ignition switch? Any
help will be appreciated thanks

most likely heater control of the two in question, probably an electronic module in that year

I just replaced heater control switch also and still nothing im lost the lights are coming on for the switch just not turning blower on any help would be appreciated thanks

Ok I figured it out and would like to thank everyone who helped it was the ignition switch 34$ and everything works as it should thanks again
