i want to replace my 8 ft bed w a newer dodge ram 8 ft bed . what years from
1998 to 2016 will work???  its impossible to find a good tailgate  and
backbumper in good shape.

If this is a pickup your style ended in 1993. Newer beds will look strange but they can be adapted.
