Water leaking from bottom of the motor

Asked by Jan 15, 2017 at 02:52 PM about the 2004 Dodge Ram 1500 SLT Quad Cab LB

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have water pouring out of the bottom of the
motor on my 2004 Dodge Ram 1500. It's leaking
from what looks like a round hole behind the
passenger side tire. Any ideas if it's a bad plug or
what?

Looks like a bad freeze plug. HTH. -Jim

If cold weather caused the engine to freeze you need to use a stronger anti-freeze ratio in your radiator. Read the anti-freeze bottle for instructions.
