In the engine compartment or under the truck?

Under the truck.

Leaking a lot of gasoline when the car is started the pump spills a lot of gas!

is it a leak in a line or is there a crack in the ppump

any idea of the aproximate cost?

we need to find out what is wrong so you don't replace the wrong part has anyone fixed the fuel system in the last year

oil change two days ago, brakes a month ago

have you done anything on it take the fuel pump off and examine for any visible cracks it might just be a bad line if they are rubber replace all of them

new motor a year ago new transmission 2 years ago

is it spraying or just dripping

No visible cracks any where.

spraying when car is started

is the fuel pipe tight, or crossthreaded

pumping gas everywhere with the pression when car is started

well i have to check that !

but is it going down the fuel pipe and in the engine compartment or is it by the pump if it is pumping gas out the pump is not bad

gasoline is leaking from the hoses!

a lot !

are they rubber or aluminum

found out gas pump was changed 6 months ago

then change them with new hose clamps and hoses you can get them at any parts store and remember you can only cut it once it is better to be longer than you need than to not be long enough

ok thanks!

oh one more question are hoses replacemnt expensive? do you have an aproximated cost?

Depends of how many feet you need. I would guess under $30. I would dry everything down and see exactly where the leak is. You can start by only replacing the bad hose.
