Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 1999 Dodge Ram 1500 that just quit shifting once it gets warm. We
bought it last year and it worked just fine up til 2 months ago. When the truck
is cold it shifts just fine, but once it warms up you can't get it out of first gear. I
don't know what happened, can anyone tell me where my problem may lie with
this transmission problem.

That sounds like the solenoids bind up when they get warm, I would try changing the fluid and filter and add a can of TransX to the fluid and run it around while it is cold for a few times to try and clean up the solenoids, if that doesn't work then you will have to replace the solenoids. HTH
