Does a 1999 dodge ram 1500 quad cab slt have a drain plug on the fuel tank?
Got some bad gas at a Wal-mart gas station 2 times in a row filling up. They admitted they had not changed out there filters on there pumps as they had been on back order?
I've ran Sea-foam through three good tanks of gas and water out additive but I still get intermittent rough idles every now and then or stumbles at a fixed speed sometimes. Never had a issue one with this truck since I bought it in 2007. Any ideas other than dropping the fuel tank out/removing the trucks bed etc. ??
Thanks in advance, HGS, FL.
No drain on the tank. Remove the pump and clean the strainer, and replace the fuel filter. You might want to also clean your fuel injectors. The proper way is to remove them...http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rLuAVhVp44Y....Though your stumbling might be something else and not fuel related, like a coil misfire.
I,d make walmart repair it .its there fault for the problem.
