Hello I just rebuilt my transmission and reverse
only work in 4L its a 1998 Dodge ram 1500 5.9l

Sounds like a transfer case problem. Check the fluid and look for metallic particles in it.

Ok there was none and I jacked up the rear end and the tires turn in reverse at about 7mph they do speed up if you hit the gas?
