Fuel is fuel pump coming on? Fuel pump relay? Does truck start when you spray starting fluid in intake? If so you have a fuel issue.
I dumped fuel in the intake with no success, and the system is getting gas. It’s almost as if it has an alarm or a kill switch but there are non. When we put the cpu up to it everything was good except it was not reading RPM so we changed out the crank shaft sensor but still nothing.
Would it still have good spark if the pickup plate was messed up? Because he did a spark test compression test everything is normal good healthy spark coming from the plugs
Have you tested the wiring to the crank sensor? If your rpm’s are not moving, it is not recognizing crank sensor
If your referring to the crank shaft sensor then yea I changed that
The wiring that the new crankshaft sensor plugs into
ThatI have not checked the truck was working totally fine before I tried to do the tuneup I don’t even know how to begin to reach that area LOL
If you say it ran fine before the tuneup....did you crimp a wire or break one and not realize it due to the insulation being intact? Did you change wires one by one? My mind is still saying fuel. You say good spark and compression. The only thing left is fuel. Fuel relay turning on? Do you hear the fuel pump? Did you disconnect the negative battery cable before doing your tuneup? Fry something?
Fuel I know it’s getting. As far as I know there is not much back there to fry except crank position sensor or pick up plate I changed one by one thought I did wrong so called a Machanic he reinstalled and put in a new crank sensor
