how to remeove ball joints

I have spent about 4 days trying to remove the ball joints I have a hanes and chilton manuals and none show removal the removeal of mine I dont know mine is a it is basically an axle I tried a ball joint press from orileys but does not work cannot get a straight angle thanks to anyone who can give me some ideas or better solution how to or a tool that will work

Typically, for a reasonable cost, you can purchase the entire control arm(s) and fix it in a couple of hours. New Ball Joints and Control Arm bushings too.
