My truck was sputtering a bit and heard a loud pop come
from engine. The truck continued to stay on but would not
go past 40 mph. Took to machanic and said was fuel
pump. Changed pump and more than a month it starts to
slightly sputter as if going to cut off. What could it be?

Is the check engine light on? If so have the codes read and post them here.
Check engine light is NOT on nor was the first time fuel pump was changed. It does work though. So im thinking that it was not the pump problem and it's still doing the slight not so after sputter.
I changed my starter for my f-150 and I get very little crank but still wont start.
