Oil Pressure Gauge sticks in cold weather

Asked by Nov 04, 2016 at 04:02 PM about the 2001 Ford F-150 XLT Extended Cab 4WD LB

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Okay, this happens any and almost
every time it's below 40 degrees (
F).My oil pressure gauge sticks and
will not measure until engine has
warmed up. The rest of the year, no
problem, I just don't want to go out that
ONE TIME, that it's really not working.

You might want to change the oil pressure sending unit to see if that helps.

Thank you, Full_of_Regrets. I'll try and see if it works.
