Rough idle

My truck is a 95 F150 when I start it  it will
idle great when I take off it cuts out and
sputters and sometimes it runs perfect and
other times I will turn on a/c and it gets
worse after using a/c I will turn truck off and
it won't start and when it does it idles high
then dies

Unplug the MAF and see if the problem goes away, the engine will almost stall (or stall) and should recover quickly
