1995 Ford F150 .. truck will not start after it has been run to operating temperature then shut off. Starts and runs fine when cooled down and continues to run fine until shut off.

Will start immediately after shutting off but
not after 10 - 15 min. Holds 38 - 40 lbs fuel
pressure. Changed fuel pressure regulator,
distributor cap and rotor, plugs and wires.
Help! ! !

Take a look at the starter and starter relay if they get hot it will give you a no start..

Ok you could be loosing pressure at some point when you have the no start, you say you are reading 38- to 40 PSI. I would like you to install a pressure gauge on the rail and watch the pressure reading after the truck s up to temp and you get a no start, Watch the gauge to see if you are losing pressure.

Ok...I'll do that. Before I changed the pressure regulator I did that and was losing pressure as soon as the pumps stopped. Didn't check it again after changing regulator.

I take that back..I had checked it but not after it had gotten to operating temp.
