After driving my 94 F150xlt if refuses to start after I return to it but if I wait an 2 or 4 hours it starts right uo
Sounds like the common ignition module and distributor pickup failure, if they have never been replaced then now would be a good time to do so.
Good chance is in the ignition module. I had a hopped up 70's model grand Torino with the same problem. As it gets worse the engine will kill while driving and you will have to sit there and wait for the module to cool before it will restart again.
Usually when ignition module is weakened by heat fatigue they will stop working all together very soon. Also if the ignition timing is set to high you will also have this problem.
