Question type: General

I need to know what the leg room in the back for 1993 f150 is.. I have two kids that need to be in car seats, one being an infant and the other 3 years of age...I had a chevy 2005 truck and my 3 year old could set in the back without his feet hitting the front seat, but I am wondering if he can sit in the back comfortable...Right now I have a jeep and I cannot put my seat all the way back (I am 6 1) without it crampping him up...

Well the extended cab has only got the two doors, so you're goin' to have to get out and flip the seat forward. About like a mini cooper this way. unless this one's got the suicide door for the rear occupants, would have to look at the geometry. When there's a flood of these four door pickups, why would you chose an extended cab?

I would choose the two door model over the 4 because I think they are more solid. Teh people I know that has the 4 door or 3 door has had trouble with to much air coming in or leaking around those doors. With 2 small kids I feel that 2 doors are safer..So do you bob know if cars seats fit in the back seat safe, and have you every had to put any car seats in the back? I would like to hear from somebody who has.....

My neighbor has a ranger x-cab kids are perfect, yes like you say can monitor them more easily. it has 'seats' kinda smallish, but adults can use them too- well, that's my two bits. not crazy about these but despite window and door closing properly issues, has been a solid vehicle for him.

There is a big difference in size with a Ranger truck vs F150...x-cab or not.....my sister had a x-cab ranger and we called the back seat "jump seats." I don't consider them seats...The f-150 has a full bench seat with 3 seat belts, so it could ride 5 people..buckets seat in front.....I guess my best beat would be to take the car seats and try them in it....
