There are time when it just blows the mind.put a hand held computer on it
try checking out distributor cap. Some times they crack and you can not see their cracked. My Dad showed me, at knight start the engine or try and watch the fire jump through the distributor cap. Dad was a GREAT mechanic GOD rest his soul. AMEN. Hope that works.

Well you have a battery drain we know that.bad coil, condencer.clean battery terminals, look for naked, fraid wire or wires.give a shot of starter flud.after you check all.this is all baby steps.leading to what could be bigger problem
If it was running okay before changing the wires and plugs the problem is likely something you did or a problem with the parts you purchased. I would run a continuity check on all the plug wires and the coil wire. Also recheck your plug connections to make certain that you put them to the correct cylinder. Check to make sure the rotor is in the distributor under the cap.
so, update: -Battery is holding charge now that i cleaned the connectors -I set the the harmonic balancer 10 degrees before top dead center and set the distributor to have the rotor to where 1 is on the cap -15426378 fire order has NO fire up and 13726548 fire order is firing but dying right off
Also, anyone have a picture of where to find my engine vin to see if its the original engine? fyi: the printed white label is worn to all white.
If anyone is still willing to help i got codes 116, 636, 114 ( also some codes 1, 111, 111 at the end)
