Truck won't start

Stereo cut out , so I shut the truck off to
reboot but wouldn't start after has power  
but no click when I try turn it over , dash
says starting system fault

This will be hard to believe, but. The mechanic I use had the same problem with a late model 150 not starting. It actually had something to do with the radio which was preventing the truck from starting. Try search the net for the problem, it may lead you in a direction.
