Battery light

2005 Chevy Trailblazer
191,000 miles
Turn the truck on in the morning or after a few hours of sitting and the battery light comes on and shows low voltage
I then drive the truck until the engine gets warm, shut it off, wait 40 mins, turn it back on and everything is normal.
Had the battery and alternator checked twice at different places---both good, the battery is 1 year old
Replaced the ignition switch and still having the same issue
Checked the volts under the hood with a meter and all are in perfect range
Any help would be much appreciated as I'm beyond frustrated trying to figure it out and its my only vehicle.

Need to have your TB checked for RIPPLE. Basically a test that narrows down where the draw is coming from. Also, as I've learned the hard way with my own TB, these auto parts places cannot check for bad diodes in the alternator and WILL test good every time. These diodes MAY be letting too many AC volts through into the DC system, therefore not charging your battery. This problem can also cause flickering of lights on occasion.

Thank you, it was my alternator, apparently it was failing thus the intermittent battery light on and off. I was able to get it checked while the battery light was on and as soon as they hooked the machine up it kicked back bad alternator. Replaced the alternator and all is running perfect. I also had the water pump replaced, serpentine belt and pulley since its 14 years old now. Thanks for your answer :-)
